The Vert-Galand hub gathers a train station, a bus station and 2 parking lots. Atelier de Midi was involved in the refurbishment of this urban node which includes a footbridge.

The existing bridge was very dated and needed some freshening-up but not rebuilding entirely the existing structure of 1990 which was in good state. For this reason we kept the main structure and removed the secondary structure giving a tube design. The trellis once painted has been covered with the same wood planks used for the bus station and glass
screen to provide a noise protection from the heavy traffic below the bridge.

This footbridge is now in place for the ease of the pedestrian and the cyclists.
