These energy efficient apartments are located in Bayonne and consume only 50 KWH/m².

The temperate Bayonne climate will help with the environmental strategy, using external insulation, cross-ventilation and solar hot water production help to reach the energetic targets.

Three building blocks are implanted above a semi underground parking. The concrete structure is wrapped with the external insulation and cladded with plaster, zinc and wood, giving a different identity to each one of the three buildings. To minimize the thermal bridges, the balconies are self-standing and stapled to the building. The steel and wooden blinds are participating to the solar protection in keeping the buildings cool in summer.
