This house is located in the famous Highland Gate Trout & Golf Estate and will then have architectural attributes of the Transvaal farm.

The natural slope of the site goes down towards the north-east and offers spectacular views, this is the reason why the house is designed like two open wings facing the downhill slope. One wing will host the bedrooms and the other wing will be composed of the double garage, kitchen dining room, living room and will be prolonged by an enclosed braai area. All reception rooms of this wing can enjoy large folding-stacking doors for a seamless transition to the shaded terrace . This outdoor area is the modern interpretation of the traditional veranda. The use of local stone is encouraged and has been used for the garage and chimney.
